Hello!

I am Sarah-Jane, SJ for short and never Sarah!

I am a Wife, Mum of three, Groodle lover, Photographer, Designer and Art Teacher. I was born on a farm just out of Ganmain, NSW (you may need to google that one) and now reside in Bendigo, Victoria.

I believe the most meaningful photographs are made in the in between moments. The quiet connection, the laughter that sneaks in, the way your people feel together rather than how everything looks.

I photograph families and newborns in a relaxed, natural way, with very little posing and a strong focus on connection. My sessions are calm, unhurried, and designed to feel more like time spent together than a photoshoot. I want your images to feel honest and familiar, like your life, just as it is.

Alongside families, I also photograph intimate elopements and small weddings for couples who value simplicity and presence over tradition. Days that are about meaning rather than schedules, and connection rather than performance.

My work is guided by emotion, light, and real moments. Whether I’m photographing a newborn at home, a family outdoors, or a quietly meaningful celebration, my approach stays the same, to document what matters in a way that feels true to you.
