Amy and Nev! šŸ¤ These two were married last year i Amy and Nev! šŸ¤

These two were married last year in Ireland, in a castle surrounded by Nev’s Irish family. This time, they wanted to celebrate here at home with Amy’s family who couldn’t make it over for their wedding.

They had the most gorgeous, intimate ceremony in their friends stunning garden, and for Amy, the most important part was capturing photos with her family, because that was the part they missed the first time around.

Such a special reason to get everyone together and celebrate their marriage. A beautiful afternoon full of family, friends, love and stunning Spring weather!

Running through the canola, daisy chain making, pi Running through the canola, daisy chain making, picnics outside. Spring has sprung!

I love getting to relive parts of my childhood through my nieces and my own kids. Coming home and watching them run around my sister’s farm together, making their own memories, is pretty special.

I had a friend say to me recently, when I mentioned I was going ā€œhomeā€ — ā€œThis is your home now, we love you here!ā€

And yes she’s right! We absolutely love where we live and it is our home. But I think I’ll always refer to this part of the world as home too. It’s where my family are, where I grew up and where so many of my memories are.

I guess you can have two homes. The one where you’ve built your life, and the one that still feels like home every time you come back. šŸ¤

I’ve been a little slow on the posting the last co I’ve been a little slow on the posting the last couple of months! Usually when it’s quiet on here, it means things are a little chaotic behind the scenes and socials are always the first thing I put off šŸ™ƒ Lots of sessions, lots of editing and plenty happening in the background.

There are also so many sessions I can’t share, and I will always, always respect your choice when it comes to sharing your photos. Just know that some absolute GOLD is being delivered behind the scenes that you’ll never see on here!!

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to book me, share my work and recommend me to their friends and family. This gorgeous family found me through a mother’s group, and I always love hearing how people find their way to me. Word of mouth honestly means so much to my little business!

This extended family session was to celebrate Miss D’s first birthday! Her Grandma and Uncle even flew in from the States so they wouldn’t miss such a special occasion, making it even more meaningful to have everyone together to capture it.

Such a special milestone and memories for this family to keep!

What a way to start off the Spring wedding season! What a way to start off the Spring wedding season! A beautiful elopement for the gorgeous Emma and Cobby this morning.

I met these two at a Monday night social netball comp. My friend introduced me as a photographer and Cobby looked at me and said, ā€œI’ll need to remember you for when that day comes.ā€ And today was that day!

You honestly couldn’t find two more loved people and their story it really one of those movie like love stories!

Such a beautiful morning celebrating you two. Congratulations Emma & Cobby! šŸ¤

A beautiful morning spent at home with Amy, Pete a A beautiful morning spent at home with Amy, Pete and her three little loves, celebrating beautiful Eilish joining their crew!

This is my third time capturing this family, each time with a new little newborn in their arms, which feels pretty special. And it always makes me smile seeing photos from those earlier days hanging on their walls!

Home sessions really are the best. They can be a little chaotic, bribery comes into play, someone else has had enough, but that’s kind of the whole point. These are the moments I think we’ll want to go back to when we’re old.

The little people running around the house. The cuddles. The noise. The mess. The tiny newborn tucked into your chest. The days that felt so bloody hard when you were right in the thick of them, but somehow your heart was so full at the same time.

I think by the time you get to baby number three (or any consecutive baby really šŸ˜‚), you learn to roll with it a little more. You know the hard bits will pass, even when they’re really hard, and you know just how quickly these little stages disappear.

One day I’m sure we’ll look back at photos like these and think, gosh, those days were tough, but weren’t they the best!! šŸ¤
